At the top, the third tab is the create new seed tab. You can also completely bypass using this window completely by dragging any file or folder from your operating system onto the main transfers view. This tab allows the user to create a new transfer from a magnet link.
Magnet links rely on the dht, and are somewhat less reliable than .torrent files but accomplish the same purpose. So create a channel if you need to. A web seed is an alternate source of file data that can be used to supplement file transfers that are inadequately seeded by normal peers.
Channels can be created by any user. The create new channel function under the add button opens a simple dialog window that allows the user to specify the permanent name and private key for the new. This opens a window to edit the tracker presets, which can be used from several places within the program such as the main transfers view, create new seed window, and categories.
You can create and edit the presets at any time from settings > transfers > trackers, by clicking the edit button for the tracker presets. If this option is not active, the transfer will simply re-create the files from scratch and start.
